Welcome to the latest issue of the Q.I.T.E. newsletter!
Thank you for continuing to work with QITE, as we close another financial year it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on everything we have achieved.
This year has brought its share of challenges, changes, and opportunities
for us all and through it all, our staff commitment, resilience, and teamwork have made a real difference, and I hope we have been able to assist you with your staffing requirements and requests.
The staff at Q.I.T.E. will continue to work hard with professionalism and care every day to assist our clients into employment – if we can assist you with your staffing needs, please reach out.

Connecting & Networking within the Region
Q.I.T.E. joined the Mareeba Rotary FNQ Field Days - the largest and most comprehensive display of agricultural equipment and associated products and services in the region.
All monies
raised by Rotary are donated to charities and community organisations.

Q.I.T.E. also had a site at the Townsville Showgrounds for North Queensland’s premier agricultural showcase - NQ Field Days.
Supported by Townsville City Council and proudly delivered by the Rotary Clubs of Townsville, the biennial event continued to shine a spotlight the strength and diversity of the region’s agricultural sector while creating valuable opportunities
for local businesses and visitors alike.

Information Session for New Careers and Opportunities
|
|
|
Clients from Mount Isa attended a mining information session to learn about the career opportunities the industry had to offer. Of the 8 client who attended, those keen to learn more have been offered a tour of the mine site planned for June, including pick up and drop off transport from Q.I.T.E.s Mount Isa office.

At Q.I.T.E. we coordinate a range of activities to assist jobseekers in North Queensland, covering Ingham, Townsville, Charters Towers, Ayr and Mount Isa and surrounding areas to gain new skills and become ready for work.

Supporting Kids in Need
Q.I.T.E.'s Townsville Office got involved in the Uniform for Kids initiative, to assist with giving kids clothes for their school uniforms. Q.I.T.E. are planning to expand our involvement in this initiative at other sites through the Work for the Dole program.
Uniforms for Kids - A non-profit charity who repurpose pre-loved uniforms into clothes for children who have a need.

Donations for our Furry Friends
Q.I.T.E.'s Work for the Dole Let's Sew group, made dog and cat bandannas for RSPCA.
It was an all-paws happy review from our furry friends who loved them.

Ongoing Support to Sisters Inside
Q.I.T.E.'s Work for the Dole program once again gave toiletry bags and scrunchies to Sisters Inside who were very grateful for the donation
Sisters Inside - Aboriginal-led organisation advocating for the human rights of women and girls in prison and their families. Providing vital services to break cycles of poverty, violence, and incarceration, creating pathways to safety, healing, and freedom.

Celebrating Under 8's Day

QT's celebrated Under 8’s Day with a morning full of fun, play and laughter. ✨
The children had a wonderful time exploring the activities, engaging with their friends and enjoying the different experiences set up for the day.
It was lovely to see their confidence, curiosity and excitement shine through as they played, created and explored.
A big thank you to our wonderful educators for helping make the day special for the children.
