A Message from the General Manager
Hello everyone,
The first quarter of this year has kicked off with a bang and we have not slowed down at all.
The harvest team had a very busy January with high placement numbers which is great to see, and all the staff have returned refreshed from their Christmas break, Christmas now seems a distance memory and we are well and truly flat out in all sites which is great to see.
Our Labour hire, harvest departments and all our offices have been very busy with helping their clients find employment and working closely with employers to find them suitable staff. A big thank you to all staff for a busy start to the new year. If you are an employer who needs staff, please reach out and call one of our offices or our Head office on 1800 354 414 and one of our friendly staff will assist you.
Our Childcare Centre in Mareeba continues to welcome new families as we do at the start of every year, and we look forward to watching the children grow and learn from our amazing staff.

Vacancies are certainly increasing which is great to see and have been able to place lots of local workers over the Christmas / January period.
We are starting the avocado season in FNQ and are preparing to commence Vegies in the Burdekin/ Bowen region over the next 2 months.
Advertising has kicked off for our upcoming cane season as we are always needing HC / Haulout drivers over this period.

Q.I.T.E. is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that prides itself on supporting the local community.
By supporting small businesses, charities and organisations like us we are also supporting the local community to help to stimulate the local economy and keep business booming within our local region.
In February QITE sent a generous donation of $7,000 that has provided a Variety EduKids grant, to students from the Cowboys Community Foundation's Variety Learning Centre.
These students from remote and often disadvantaged Indigenous communities are now geared up for the school year with essentials like schoolbooks and stationery.
Queensland kids are back to school January 2024! A huge shoutout to Stationery Aid and Q.I.T.E. for helping us provide essential tools to set up 173 kids for success in the 2024 school year.
