William is a 48-year-old First
Nations man who was 100 weeks unemployed when he commenced employment with the RSL. William had experience with heavily physical work such as labouring and stationhand, and had previously completed a Certificate II in Hospitality however didn't have any experience in this field.
Willliam and our dedicated Employment Broker worked together to identify transferrable skills and set goals to achieve these. Industries with a less physical nature were identified and William was enrolled into Certificate III Hospitality: Dream Believe Achieve Program which he completed. Through his placement on the Dream Believe Achieve Program Willilam was successful with gaining employment. our dedicated Employment Broker worked with
Wiliam to address what he required to start work and he was assisted with work clothing. William had issues with transport while working and was assisted with a scooter to get to and from work. William said that our Employment Broker "was amazing to work with. She really listened and helped me believe in myself again. Now I am working and loving it." William is tracking towards 26 weeks in employment. He is confident in remaining in employment.

Starting Again with Confidence
|

Rebecca is a 44-year-old First Nations mother who
had some time out of the work force due to having a sick child and lost confidence in applying for roles.
Q.I.T.E.'s Senior Employment Broker worked with Rebecca to create a resume and to identify barriers and steps to address these including helping towards getting her drivers licence. Rebecca's strengths and transferrable skills were identified to build her confidence. A brokered position became available through our recruitment department which aligned with Rebeccas attributes and recruitment marketed her to this
position.
Q.I.T.E.'s Senior Employment Broker worked with Rebecca to prepare her for the interview and she was successful in gaining employment. Q.I.T.E. assisted Rebecca through the employment fund with police check, blue card, uniforms and fuel to commence her employment. She is confident she will remain in
employment
Rebecca said "I have spent approximately 3 years out of the workforce due to caring responsibilities for my son. I was ready to get back in to work. I have felt supported by Q.I.T.E.'s Senior Employment Broker in every step of my journey to employment. I'm fulfilled and confident and proud of myself at work, thanks to Q.I.T.E."

| An Exciting Pathway Forward
|
|
|
Richard is a 43-year-old First Nations man who faced significant personal challenges in his past. Originally from Mount Isa, Richard relocated to Townsville with a clear vision: to create a better, more stable future for himself. Motivated by the wider employment opportunities available in Townsville.
Richard engaged closely with his Case Manager to set meaningful goals and establish a pathway toward long-term consistency. They worked one-on-one to build Richard’s confidence and capability. Support
included assistance with completing his Hazard Perception Test and organising vehicle hire so he could progress his driver’s licence — an essential step in improving his employability.
With the guidance of his Case Manager and regular participation in Job Club, he was connected with appropriate support services to help him manage these challenges and stay focused on his new direction.
He successfully completed Certificate II in Railway Infrastructure, professionally updated his resume and built his employability through interview practice and targeted job applications. He is actively applying for roles with Queensland Rail and Aurizon, demonstrating determination and pride in his progress.
Richard thanked Q.I.T.E. " for motivating me and helping me achieve goals I never thought I could reach. I’m excited to see what the new year will bring."

Play is at the heart of everything we do 💕 When children play, they’re not just having fun — they’re exploring, experimenting, and discovering how the world works. 🌍 Through play, children: ✨ Build social and emotional skills 🧠 Develop problem-solving and critical thinking 🗣 Strengthen language and communication 💪 Grow confidence and independence Our educators create purposeful play experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and
a lifelong love of learning. Whether it’s building with blocks, painting, role-playing, or exploring nature — every moment of play is a moment of growth 🌱 Because at QT’s, we know that play is serious learning! 💫

Day for Daniel
QT's joined thousands of Australians in recognising Day for Daniel — the nation’s largest child safety education and awareness event, held on the last Friday of October to honour the memory of Daniel Morcombe.
This special day encourages everyone to wear red, raise awareness about child safety, and help children learn important personal safety skills.
Our Toddler Two children watched Wobbly Jelly — a fun and age-appropriate story from the Daniel Morcombe Foundation for children aged 0–6. 🪼 Jelly goes on an adventure to learn how to Recognise, React, and Report to stay safe.
After the story, we coloured our very own Safety Hands, and Miss Kayla sat with each child to talk about who they can call for help. 💕 It was heartwarming to hear the children confidently say they could reach out to their mums, dads, uncles, aunties, grandparents, brothers, sisters — and even Miss Kayla and Miss Rose! 🥹
✨ Protecting children is EVERYONE’S business.
